Futuristic Mega-Cities and Sleepless Wonderlands

Chinese artist Yang Yongliang recently released a new project that will be on view at Galerie Paris-Beijing from from March 14th to April 27th. The impressive collages aim to represent the potentially devastating effects of uncontrolled urbanization and industrialization.
Yongliang’s futuristic images have two faces — from a distance they look like peaceful mountain landscapes, but if you look closely you see every single part of space filled with heavy urban structures. Head over to this article on Colossal to see more of the project.
