We invite all humans, animals, plants and other critters to join us for the launch event of VOLUME 66, in collaboration with Nieuwe Instituut, Hortus Botanicus Amsterdam, restaurant Entrepot and ZJA Architects & Engineers. The event features a sneak preview of the Hortus’ Climate Greenhouse which is currently under construction, as well as nature-inspired snacks and sounds.
About VOLUME 66
The latest issue of VOLUME is dedicated to reimagining how architecture and design intertwine with the natural world. VOLUME 66: The guide to designing with animals, plants and other critters goes beyond simple definitions to map out the complex relationships between plants, animals, and climate, providing a tool for anyone interested in shaping spaces with ecological awareness. This issue, compiled as a glossary, serves as a design tool, encouraging interspecies collaborations and the role of ecosystems in architecture.
