‘Behind the Green Door’ Book Launch

This week, Volume’s editorial team will be heading for Venice to visit 2014’s Biennale. We will be attending and/or co-hosting several gatherings and events. This Friday, Volume editor-in-chief Arjen Oosterman will be interviewed during the launch event of the book Behind the Green Door at the Nordic Pavilion.

Oslo Architecture Triennale are proud to present the book Behind the Green Door – A Critical Look at Sustainable Architecture Through 600 Objects, a unique and critical portrait of the concept of sustainability and its influence on development in architecture and urban planning within the last decades. Based on the Belgian collective Rotor‘s acclaimed exhibition and research for the Oslo Architecture Triennale in 2013, 600 supposed sustainable objects and more than 300 comments from international expert are presented and discussed over 368 pages. The content of the book is presented in a visual and thought provoking manner that will interest everyone from politicians and professionals to the environmental aware consumer.

The book presentation will take place on Friday 6 June at 16:30 at the Nordic Pavilion at the Venice Biennale.
