Archis and Nieuwe Instituut proudly present VOLUME 65: Living Together. Join us to celebrate the launch of the issue on Saturday September 7th at the Van Eesteren Museum in Amsterdam.
The event features an interview with Ole Bouman, former editor-in-chief of VOLUME, on his journey cycling from Amsterdam to Shanghai. In a conversation with Chris Keulemans, he shares his experiences seeing cultural changes embedded in history, playing out into the now. Alongside the interview, three selected stories from VOLUME 65 will be read creating a mosaic of stories on human cohabitation. The afternoon is free to attend upon registration and snacks and drinks will be available at the bar.
VOLUME 65 is available now in the VOLUME webshop and at sales points worldwide. The issue explores ways in which we cohabitate, capturing a wide array of modes and models of living across the globe. VOLUME 65: Living Together presents stories stemming from more than 25 countries – addressing both housing crises in different regions in the world, while also offering new perspectives, cases and creative engagements with housing, domestic issues, and potential futures for communal living.
